Account Manager

As an Account Manager, you are the liaison between client and agency creative teams. You represent the client’s interests and understand how each project tracks towards client goals. The Account Manager develops and fosters a strong relationship with each client and internal team members. The Account Manager is the backbone of the Agency, ensuring all projects are on track and delivered on time.

Responsibilities/Duties:

As an Account Manager you will operate as communication hub between all agency team members and resources who touch an assigned account/project

  • Ability to manage multiple, large multi-faceted projects at the same time
  • Work with internal team to develop and manage creative development and production timelines
  • Manage and be accountable for each step of the creative development process
  • Work with team to create and manage (monitor and control) project estimates and budgets
  • Facilitate project progress meetings and collaboration between all departments – communicate and document project information
  • Document project evolution and maintain a detailed record of job changes and impacts to project time, cost and/or scope
  • Engage in contingency planning and recommend solutions – risk planning
  • Alert team if a project strays from originally established scope, schedule, or budget
  • Ensure completion and quality of workflow forms and adherence to internal production policies and process
  • Work closely with Creative and Production departments in the pursuit of visionary ideas for our clients
  • Create and Maintain project timelines and status through the project management software, Asana
  • Lead weekly team status meeting Managing scope of work change forms
  • Crafting and distributing conference reports and meeting agendas

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of agency experience (preferred) or related communication industry experience that provides an understanding of advertising, marketing, paid and social media, creative, production, research, direct marketing, finance, etc.
  • BA required with a preferred concentration in advertising, communications, or marketing.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills

  • Management and team-building skills
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented in a production intensive environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Mac.

This role is full-time, based in our office in Bend, Oregon.
